Gerry Baril speaks about drug issues in Franklin County and the State of Maine.
Gerry Baril spoke to the group and shared the status of drug enforcement in the area. He share his many years of history working in this field. He also described the changes he has seen in the type of drug issues.
One of the most interesting aspects is the harshness of the drugs of today and the increased risks young people take with prescription drug abuse. The years of enforcement Gerry has have shown an increase in drug use even with new techniques in the law enforcement area. He shared some pretty scary stories of drug use that are current and could impact anyone of us as we deal with young people in the region.
