Elise Chase is the Director of Crisis Services and has been with Sweetser since 2019. In this role, she oversees mobile crisis intervention, crisis triage, and the OPTIONS program. Elise has extensive experience within Sweetser, having worked in various programs including residential services, crisis stabilization units, and mobile crisis intervention. Prior to her current role, she served as the Clinical Supervisor for Mobile Crisis in Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford counties. She is an LMSW-cc, CCS (Certified Clinical Supervisor), and has her MHRT-csp certifications. Elise earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern Maine. A local to Maine, she is dedicated to serving her community and is passionate about delivering essential services throughout the state. Outside of work, Elise enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

Chief Hardy has worked for the Farmington Fire Department for 25 years.  He is a 1997 graduate of Mt. Blue High School.  He holds the following certifications: Certified Firefighter 1 and 2 (Maine State Fire Academy), Fire Officer 1 and 2 (Maine Fire Service Institute), Fire Instructor (Maine Fire Institute), Licensed Emergency Medical Technician (Maine EMS), Fire Inspector 1 (National Fire Protection Association), and Rescue Systems 1 (New Hampshire Fire Academy). Chief Hardy currently serves as the Training Coordinator for the Franklin County Firemen’s Association.

K9 Foster is a high speed but focused male labrador retriever that has intense ball drive. Certified in tracking, evidence search, hasty air scent search, and human remains detection, he brings energy and focus to every deployment.

Warden Boucher enjoys how rewarding working a K9 is. Seeing the progress from hard work and dedication put into training with the end results helping people finding lost loved ones.

General Information

Entrants must observe all applicable rules and regulations and follow all instructions from police or parade officials. The 4^th of July Day Committee reserves the right to remove any entrant from the parade either prior to assembly, at assembly or at any time during the parade.

RELEASE – All entries must sign a Release, Waiver & Indemnity Form.

TIME – Lineup will begin at the UMF Parking Lot Behind the Student Center on High Street at 8:00 a.m. First unit steps off to begin the parade promptly at 10:00 a.m.

AWARDS – Entries will be judged prior to the parade. All entrants interested in being judged must be in line by 9:30 a.m. The 1st place winners in each category will receive a blue ribbon and a $50 Chamber Bucks Coupon, 2nd place winners will receive a red ribbon and a $25 Chamber Bucks Coupon, and 3rd place winners will receive a white ribbon.

    RAIN DATE - Parade will occur rain or shine.

Public Works Director, Philip Hutchins, and Town Manager, Erica LaCroix, will join us to talk about some of Farmington Public Works projects.

Volunteers will work with LEAP to repair a client's deck to improve accessibility to their home.

Sarah Patterson offers a lifestyle program called Carpe Diem Fitness that includes weight training, nutrition, and bodybuilding. Sarah works as a personal trainer and nutrition coach helping clients reach their goals.

Fit Girls is a running, reading, and caring program for 4th and 5th grade girls that operates for 6 weeks after school in the fall and the spring.
