2/14/08- Dick Jackson- Mill Manager- Verso Paper

Dick Jackson shared an interesting presentation about the great year Verso Paper saw in 2007. He shared new programming the mill is involved with and the changes they are making to assure quality production. His energetic and sometime comical presentation acknowledges the workforce efforts and experiences Verso has had in Maine. Through the process of human resource development and the commitment of the workers, the mill saw a superior production history this last year. Better yet is the anticipation of yet an even better year in 2008. He highlighted some changes the mill is making to invest in the mill, the communities, the employees, and the area. The fine powerpoint showed a combination of graphs, photos, and data about this present status.
