Mt. Blue Interact celebrates with a Charter Ceremony

 
On Tuesday April 25th the Mount Blue High School Interact Club sponsored by Farmington Rotary held it's Charter Ceremony at the Rainbow Cafe at the high school. Over 35 parents, friends and club members were in attendance as the newly formed Interact Club received their official charter from Rotary International presented to them by District Governor Leni Gronros. Club members planted a tree on the school grounds to symbolize the start of Interact at Mt. Blue High School. Included in the ceremony were refreshments provided by the culinary art students of Foster Regional Technical Center.
Interact is a service and social club for young people ages 14-18. The club in it's first year has raised funds and donated money to Operation Santa Claus, The Food Pantry and the Heifer project. They meet every Wednesday morning in the conference room at Foster Tech, the club is open to all Mt. Blue High School students.
